The least you can do is grind off the humps everywhere in the runner. That will help alot. I'd stay away from the D3's because I hear the larger chamber makes for detonation problems because of its size. If your stock pistons definetely dont use D3s.

With these ported stock heads you have to forget about the so called "ideal" exhaust to intake ratio and make up the difference with camshaft duration split. It works.
