It is affected by the size of the box, the tune of the port, and the properties of the driver. F3 is the point in the output response curve where the output is 3db down from the baseline. Depending on port size and tuning basically you are setting your frequency range. I am tuned to 29hz. So i play donwn to around 10hz and as high as 60hz just fine.
