My 2011 GTS manual included this torque. Earlier model years had a lower torque that, according to the 4/1/13 letter, could result in cracked hubs during track use. WebTorque wrenches are smaller and cost less and you don’t need 3/4” drive for wheel changes. They may even be quicker because you don’t need to grease everything up to precise standards, double check retaining locks, and you can even loosen them with an impact. You’re not supposed to do that with centerlock (at least on the Porsche 911 GT3).
