The rubber boots are not folding nicely since they are mounted like when they are extended before mounting. I assume this is due to the compression of the boots. WebMay 19, 2024 · the bilstein boots have four little drain holes in them, that allow moisture to drip out WHEN THE BOOTS ARE FACING DOWN. this is part of the reason they want the boots facing down. they need to be there, to protect the rods. if the boots were facing up, they would actually collect water, and rot out the shocks from inside the boot. :wink2: …
